Timeless Love

Okay, I'll get better at this, I promise. I mean, I will get back to where I was oh, say, a month ago. In the past month, I have updated ONCE. ONCE. I apologize for those who have told me I suck. I realize this. It will come together. Life has been hectic right now, but that's no excuse.

Tonight I can't sleep. I hate not being able to sleep with a vengeance. With everything that is in me. I want to sleep really really really really badly and I have to wake up in like four hours. Less than four hours. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?! Stupid bad dreams, stupid exams, stupid papers. Stupid stupid stupid.

Tonight we finished our Day of Prayer. Loved it.

Tonight I spent with the other two musketeers. Tonight we were the three musketeers. Last night, it was more like the three stooges. We studied a little bit, talked a lot and went to the bonfire. Cappuchino afterwards. *happy sigh* Love that.

I want to try to sleep again now. I've vented a little. That's good for the lack of sleep issue, right? Right.

It's been two or three weeks since I updated. Oops. Three. Well. It's been hard lately. Exams and boys and such.

Random thought for this evening: roommates suck.

That's all.

Today was an AWESOME DAY. I got to sleep in a little bit, cause my comp workshop got moved to 9 instead of the regular time at 8:30. I went to chapel with the guys. Power of Passion at 11, then a quick lunch with Darren, Dan and Scott. Dan was in uniform - he's Army ROTC. I told him he looks good in his uniform. He looks scary too :)

Formation class.. yeeeah. I love my small group. We went to the Hive afterwards and ate curly fries and talked about sloth and prayer requests. We are quite the group. We have Erik, the preppy tough guy who wants to be all that and wants everyone to think he's all that, but he's a marshmallow and has a girlfriend of 2 years that he's in love with. She's the first girl he ever kissed. Collectively now.. "aaaaawwwwww". Adam - artsy, computery type who makes me laugh and is probably the deepest thinker of us all. Will, the musician who likes to zone out during class. Tim, the big teddy bear, who makes me think a lot. Sarah Major, the organized, together girl, who paints my nails and sends us all Hershey's kisses in the mail. And then there's me.

Studied, worked on my workshop worksheet, dinner with the Lawlor boys. (Darren, Carey, Dan, Scott, Three, Kyle, Dave, etc.). LOVE THEM. *blows raspberries* Studied with Darren for our Foundations exam. It's gonna bite me. I know it is.

I must sleep so I pass this stupid test. Stupid stupid stupid test. Siiigh. 11:32 PM

Hey everyone. I'm in clean pajamas, after taking a shower, getting ready to crawl into clean sheets. I love being clean.

I'm home early to work on my comp project. I want to get a good piece of it done tonight, even though Carey and Darren and I are gonna meet tomorrow to do it. I'm the only one who understands. That's because Darren can't focus and Carey.. let's just say he's not exactly at his best at 8:30 in the morning.

Yesterday was fuuun. Homecoming attendants gave their speeches. Grace won.. I'm glad. She's a Maddox girl *best dorm. no doubts*. Alex was supposed to have a game, but it got rained out. We only figured this out after taking not one but TWO trips in the pouring rain out to the baseball stadium, which happens to reside in the lower part of Alaska - or something like that. It's a long walk, anyway. But the first time we went out, Jas *pronounce it Yos* picked us up in his little red VW Beetle from 196something. It has cow seats and the doors don't close. It's fabulous. Then I put dry jeans on and emerged from Maddox again - this time with Alisha - because the rain had seemed to ease off. Oh no. The sky opened halfway to the baseball field. We were drenched. We met up with Josh and went to eat dinner at the Hive because Alisha forgot her ID card -- long story. Then we had a party in the Faith lounge. It was nuts. I took pictures, don't worry. Darren, Carey, Josh, Alisha and I split and went to Beans N Cream.. I got a rootbeer float!! And these two girls I don't know walked up to me and said "Are you Sarah Clift?" Apparently one of their friends gets asked if she's me a lot. Hmm. Veeeerry interesting.

Today I slept late, talked to my family on the phone, went to lunch.. I don't remember after that. OH! I went and worked backstage. The set is AWESOME, and I love the crew. After that, I cleaned up my side of the room. Jessica's is a wreck, it's disgusting. She spent $105 on food for us tonight, though, so I don't care. I can deal with it, for food. ;)

Dinner with the boys. Alex, Kyle, Kyle, Darren, Carey, and Dave. We were minus a few, but that's all right. Alisha and Jordon had a date tonight *wink* Go guys.

I went to the Organizational Fair tonight and it was a blast. It was craaazy. We did an obstacle course, and those bungee races, and made sugar cookies, and climbed a rock wall, and got fake tatoos and our hair dyed - mine's purple! - and I might become a college Republican. *giggles* I love CU.

Darren makes me laugh. So does Carey. I want to bring them home to meet everyone sometime.

Alex and I drove around for a little bit, and ended up at Kelly's apartment *for those who don't remember, that's his older brother who lives off campus*. We watched "Miss America" and part of "The Princess Bride". But then I got tired and realized how much work I had left to do, so I came home. And here I am.

I want to tell you all about the dorms, but I'll save that for some other time. *salutes* Farewell, all. 12:58 AM

Okay. I have some possible explanations for why my blog hasn't really been updated. The largest one? The intense homework load. For some reason EVERY SINGLE PROF I HAVE has decided that this the High Holy Week of Homework. I have yet to be in bed before 1:00 - usually it averages 2:30 or 3:00. Guess what? Tonight I finish my homework and crawl into bed and as fate would have it, I can't sleep. Stupid sleep patterns.

Stupid glass. - Chad

SO I went to Michigan last weekend. It was fun. It's 1:03 in the morning - you really expect me to get more specific than that? I thought not. Nathan drove me home. He makes me laugh. We stopped at Burger King and caused trouble.. Bonnie and Clyde all the way.

I set Krystal up on a blind date - Pick-A-Date time is here, ladies and gentleman. She's in charge of mine.. she'll pick someone who will keep me amused, I know she will, but I'm still sort of eh about it. Various reasons for that. No time to expound here.

Let's focus on today. Focus is good. I had Comp class at 8:30. We threw a football and taught the boys to braid hair and played with Slinkys and Yo-yos.. highly productive class session. Miss Campbell was taking pity on us because of the large amount of work we have had to do this week for our informative papers. Mine is on "The Effect of Gender on Friendships". Oh yay.

Chapel. Our row still kicks butt. Front and balcony with built in seats and desks. It's a good thing.

I want Rachel to come visit me. Heck, I want a lot of people to come visit me. I miss you guys a lot today. Random comment over, return to my day.

Lunch with Darren and Dan, Formation, yeah yeah yeah. Props crew meeting backstage. The set is coming along beeeautifully. It's in these weird colors, with circles and loops and pretty designs all over. I love being a part of the crew. I have to work all afternoon on Saturday. There goes some quality homework time. I want to actually finish as much of my weekend homework as I can tomorrow. But our UNDEFEATED MEN'S SOCCER TEAM *woooooo* plays their first home game tomorrow night.. seven consecutive wins. And Alex has his first home game, too. And it's a Friday night, too people.

I skipped going to a movie tonight to work on homework. Wow, it's hard to believe. I know. I hardly believe it myself.

Talked to Henry tonight. He's my Naugy connection since I hardly hear from them anymore *coughjesseleecough* I guess he has excuses with football and such.. sort of. ;)

I will now return to my previously scheduled sleep time. 1:13 AM

I haven't felt like writing the past few (many) days.. it's just been one of those weeks, I guess. There's a lot I could write about, but I'll skim highlights.

Acquired uniforms today for the soccer team in Haiti. Yeaaahbaby. Thanks to Coaches Belleman and McGillivray. I luv my school.

I went to Wal-Mart on Tuesday evening after class with Nate, Dave, Devon and Darby. My buddies. Those four guys are awesome. Except they hit me and Darby even bit my shoulder on the car ride home. Except for Nate.. Nate was my savior. I bought a toothbrush and that's it. Nate might bring me home from Detroit on Sunday; we will see.

Hmmm.. we had a water balloon fight Saturday night. Guys against girls. Girls won. Duh. I got ice poured all over me, and then I went and wrapped up in a blanket. My fuzzy star one. We watched "The Rookie" in the event rooms and I ate chicken wings. Yum.

Josh took me out for pizza on Sunday night *NOT A DATE ALERT. I REPEAT: NOT A DATE* cause the line in Chuck's was the devil. It honestly was. Then we rode our bikes around campus to fulfill my PACL requirements.

I hate PACL.

Tuesday was Derrin's birthday. We had a party in the Lawlor lounge. (Lawlor's a guys dorm). For us, a birthday party consists of ice cream sandwiches, a cake and a lot of noise. Yeah. That's what I'm talkin about. We sang "Happy Birthday" about four times. Why? Cause Alisha and I like to sing it.

Derrin named my backpack Rocket cause it reminds him of this dog Rocket he had when he was in first grade. He pets it and everyone stops and looks at us. We're getting nametags made for Rocket.

Patriotic chapel today and moments of silence and such. I cried.

David flew to England today. I cried.

I whacked my toe on my desk chair tonight. I almost cried.

I have to go finish my homework and my laundry. I leave for Michigan quite soon. I'll update sooner I promise.

I like Green Day. So do my punks. Hmm. Who knew? 12:15 AM
