YES I realized I missed another day. Sheesh. My life does not revolve around this blog, people, contrary to popular belief. Anyyywaaay..
Fridays are my worst day of classes. I have one at 9, one at 1, and 2 and 3. Yuckkk.. one right after the other. After my 3:00 class, which is PACL, Alex took Anne back to her dorm *they're both in PACL with me* and he took me to the bookstore so I could get new social science notes cause I switched SS classes to get away from my scary professor. He dropped me off at my dorm so I could changed and get some stuff done, and then he and Josh came back later to pick up Jessica and me. Now the boys really wanted Alisha to come *she's awesome. i <3 Alisha* but I couldn't get a hold of her, so Jess asked if she could come. It was NOT good. The two of them didn't get along with her at all. Atallatall. And there's this group of us that's together all the time, and I feel bad cause Jess wants to hang out with us, but well... you know how some people just mesh? Jessica doesn't. At least, not with my other friends. Anyway. We went to Subway's and then to see "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". I laughed the entire movie. It was soo good. We stopped by Young's on the way home and Jessica and I got brownie sundaes. Mmm.
Today was SO MUCH FUN. Ohmygoodness. I can't hold it in. I woke up at like 9, and Alisha called. CedarFest is going on for the next few days .. it's this celebration of Labor Day. Alisha and I dragged Alex and Josh through it. It was so tiny that it was hilarious. I LOVED IT. So did Alisha. We watched tractor pulls and Alisha bought the cutest stuffed pig ever.. I think I want one. It has big floppy pink ears and it's just the cutest thing ever. Anyway, back on track here. We watched a dog show and the boys did this baseball throwing thing. And we walked around.. it was quiet. We went back to Chuck's for lunch cause it's free *well not really. but we didn't have to pull out $$ which was what we were concerned about at the moment*. Back to CedarFest. Then we made a group trip to Wal-Mart. It was Ryan, Kyle, Josh, Jordan, Alex, Alisha and me. Yaaaaay so much fun. I bought stuff and I don't remember what exactly I bought but I know I needed it.
Umm.. let's see.. oh yes. Alisha and I went to dinner w/ Jordan, Josh, Kyle, John and Matt. Where did we go? The fine dining establishment of CHUCK'S. Ohyes. We live on the ritzy side.. go us. Alisha and I came back here and studied for a while, then Alex came and dropped my stuff from Wal-Mart off. I had left it in the back of Ryan's truck *long story*. He and I went over to his brother's apartment (it's right by campus. It's practically ON the campus, which is pretty cool) and Kelly (his brother), Alex and I went back to Wal-Mart to buy shoe hangers for Alex and a DVD player for Kelly's apartment. Ryan turned down the opportunity. I don't know why he didn't desire to return to Wal-Mart twice in one day, but hey, whatever floats your boat. lol We had a good time. The Pummell brothers love Avril Lavigne approximately as much as I do so we played her CD the entire way there and back yaaaaaay. We bought the DVD player and "Shrek", "Matrix" and something else.. oh yeah, "Remember the Titans" to go with it. We watched "Shrek" with Ryan when we got back, and I don't know why, but something about watching it with the three of them was hilarious. The faces they make and the voices they do.. those boys are awesome.
Anyway, now I'm home, and I just got in, and I'm whiiiiiiiipped. So I'm off to bed - church in the morning! 1:11 AM

More class.. who ever knew college was about actually learning something? lol
Comp is going to be sooo much fun. So much fun. I'm serious. My teacher's name is Miss Campbell and she's like 26 or something like that and she bounces around like me. Let's see.. anything else? No nothing exciting. Alistair Begg is still speaking here every morning + night.. tonight was his last night I think, and it was sooooo good. At lunch with boys from the Hill. And you know what they say about boys from the Hill.. lol For those non-CU students, the Hill is this area of 3 or 4 boys' dorms who (wouldn't you know) sit on this Hill. And they're all supposed to be losers and dorks, and they don't even choose to be there - well, at least the freshmen don't. A lot of them are really nice and really cool and so I sat at a table w/ Alex and three other Hill boys. One of them was typical Hill, but the other two were awesome. I'm starting a "Hill Boy Outreach Program" for girls in Maddox, my dorm.
Classes in the afternoon, too. Poop on classes.
The Rock now says.. wait, I forget. Maybe I'll remember in a minute.
Alicia and I went to Beans N Cream for coffee tonight. I got a cappuchino and now I'm a *wee* bit hyper.. but at least I'll be able to get through my Humanities assigned reading. And I had walnut baklava. It was okay, but I am NOT recommending it.
When I got back, there was a note on the door that said "Got milk? We don't. - Jess" Now, keep in mind that I had finished the rest of the milk last night and wrote my self a BIIIIIG note and put it on the fridge to remind me to get milk today. And on my way home from getting coffee, I picked up milk at the Super Rip and brought it back to the room. I told her it was rude because the day wasn't even over yet, and she agreed and apologized so it was all good. Sort of.
"when boys see me they think I'm a lady.. until I open my mouth. I think that's why I scare them off." - Jessica, in reference to a water bottle
I now remember what the rock says.
"Ineptitude: learning how to do something well or to enjoy doing something poorly" or something like that.
The other side is boring. It's like happy birthday krista or something. Whatever.
I like dancing monkeys. Shoooooootamonkey, Alicia.
Wow the cappuchino is soaking in. Must go do humanities while I have the semienergy.
Chad makes a good bird. I love Ramunes. 11:25 PM

I tried to blog last night and welll.. I don't remember what happened, but it ended up getting deleted. Ooooops.
So I started class today. It was okaaay. I went to Humanities, and Lynsey and Krystal, two of my suitemates, are in there with me. It seems like it's gonna be all right.. five papers due over the semester, but the teacher's all right and it might be a little boring, but I'll get through it.
After Humanities was the convocation ceremony and it was good. We sang our alma mater song and it was nice. Blahhhh.
I met Krystal and Janna for lunch at the clock and the rock. We sat down with Autumn and began talking about boys, marriage, childbirth, etc. Janna got a kick out scaring away the boy sitting next to her. I laughed so hard I almost fell off of my chair. Alex came over to say hi, and we made plans to go running tonight and meet up before our class.
Next came Social Science *snore* and PACL. not tooo bad. Alex was waiting for me in the lobby when I got to the DMC and we went to class together. Oh yes, the fascinating life I lead. I bought notes for my SS class and a card for Anne. and oh my goodness. I GOT MAIL.
I GOT MAIL. I love my mommy.
Anyway, I walked Anne to her dorm and then to work. Came back to the room and ate Chex Morning Mix for dinner and then took my career assessment test. I'm interested in what the results come back as.
I will now provide you all with a discourse on the Rock. The Rock is this very large chunk of stone that sits in front of the SSC (the student center). Every night, or almost every night, people come out and spray paint it with whatever they want it to say. Today the rock says
"It takes a big man to cry. It takes a bigger man to laugh at that man." - JH
Oh and the other side says "I still wonder why kamikaze pilots wear helmets".
Ahhh the deep thinking at CU.
Went running with Alex through the town of Cedarville, and we stopped at Mom N Dad's for a shake afterwards, completely ruining all of the good work I'd done running.
Jessica is now climbing under the bed. I'm not sure what she's looking for but when I find out, I'll let you know.
I love magnets. And Ramunes.
Jessica is looking for the back and battery for her fan remote. Tomorrow I must buy milk. And watch Alex run his mile for baseball.
Chad is my dork, and I'm going to bed. 12:44 AM. *yawn*

Quick blog tonight. No time for much more.
My day was this: breakfast, meeting, meeting, meeting, lunch, nap, dinner, meeting, meeting, and guess what's next? OH! front row, Ralph got it right. A meeting. *yawn* Krystal and I want to run tonight.
Vanilla Milkshake and T-Bone rapped tonight at our freshman class meeting. Wow.
A really hot guy stopped me on the way back to my dorm to tell me to get ice cream from Mom N Dad's. Um. Okay.
I wore a skirt when I went to my meetings tonight. They were dressy meetings. Thanks to Henry for the fashion advice.
I get to eat popcorn at my next .. LOL Jessica just turned on her aerolatte thing accidentally. Another WOW.
Must go do meetinglike things. 10:29 PM
I realize I missed a day. Thanks to you three who pointed that out. I was tired last night, what can I say?? All the late nights/ early mornings are starting to catch up with me.
My family and I went to church in the chapel in the morning, and then they took me out to Arby's afterwards so that I could have one more meal with them. I know, Arby's is high class, but we pulled it off. ;) I <3 curly fries + lemonade. Then I had to say goodbye. That was hard. I just came back to my room and jumped online and talked to Erik and then it wasn't so bad. Jess and Krystal came back to the room after saying their goodbyes and we comforted each other. I honestly don't remember what else we did. That's so bad. Oh I slept for an hour and a half in the afternoon. That's what I did lol and I think I played on the computer a little bit. I had a small group meeting at four, and then dinner, and then I came back to my room and cleaned up some. There was a bonfire at 9, and I met another billion new people. It was a LOT of fun. They did this 'random freshman date' thing, where the first four people on stage dated each other. Two of my friends, Kendra and Josh, ran up separately from opposite sides of the crowd, and ended up being put together after they've known each other for like three years lol. If they're still dating by October 4th when Jars of Clay comes, they get to go backstage and meet the band. Knowing them, they'll pretend to still be dating just so they can meet them :)
Krystal and I went running last night. We saw some guy a couple of times and he kept saying things like "Good job, ladies". He was our motivation lol. I was so nasty when I got back; I took the longest shower I've ever taken, I think. Oooops, it's time for a nap. Have to schedule in rest or otherwise I'll never get sleep around here. More later tonight, I promise. 3:19 pm
